FuelSaathi exists to make India’s transition to E20 petrol easy for every driver: one clear answer for one specific car, with the official document that supports it ready to open.
What FuelSaathi is
FuelSaathi is a website and app at fuelsaathi.com. It answers whether a specific petrol car sold in India is ready for E20, and pairs that answer with practical mileage and car-care tools. It is an information service only: it does not sell or deliver fuel, does not sell vehicles or parts, and takes no payment from drivers.
Who publishes it
FuelSaathi is independently published by Amit Patnaik, India, as a public driver service. It is not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer, with ARAI, SIAM or any government body.
How the answers are built
The catalogue currently holds 142 car records backed by manufacturer or government documents. Every verdict links to its source — an owner’s manual, brochure, manufacturer statement or official publication — so a driver can read the original at any time.
For petrol cars without an exact manufacturer record, the answer rests on the published official record: E20 is the ARAI-validated standard petrol at every Indian pump, and the Government of India’s position is that it can be used in all petrol vehicles. That verdict carries its own label and links to the ARAI note and the government clarification, so it is never presented as a manufacturer statement.
