E20-ready cars carry a fuel-recommendation sticker on or near the fuel flap stating the approved blend. If it names E20, the manufacturer has certified the car for the fuel at every Indian pump.

How compatibility was engineered in
India's E20 rollout followed the published national roadmap: vehicles were made ready before the fuel reached the pumps, and the industry has put its warranty commitment on the record.
Under the national roadmap, new vehicles rolled out E20-compliant materials — fuel lines, seals, pumps and injectors selected for the blend — from April 2023 onwards.
