Useful information without a behavioural profile.

Website

FuelSaathi.com does not require an account. The production host may process standard request data needed to serve and secure the site. FuelSaathi does not add advertising trackers or third-party behavioural analytics. It records a small set of aggregate operational events in production logs (for example, a car search with no result) without an account, persistent identifier, registration number, free-text search, or location history.

The site counts page views in aggregate through its hosting provider's first-party analytics, with no cookies and no personal identifiers.

The mileage journal uses browser storage so your fill history remains available on the same device. It is not uploaded to FuelSaathi. You can export a copy or clear the journal from the mileage tools page.

Driver-story submissions

If you share an E20 experience, FuelSaathi collects the name, city, vehicle and story that you propose for publication. Email and an optional phone number are kept private and used only to verify the account, resolve questions and handle a deletion request.

Contact details are encrypted. Abuse prevention uses one-way hashes of limited request and contact information for rate limiting and duplicate detection. Nothing is published automatically. A human reviewer must review and approve an edited public version before it can appear.

Pending submissions are removed after 90 days if verification is not completed. Rejected or abusive submissions are removed after 30 days, and abuse-prevention rate records are also cleared after 30 days. You may request deletion at any time.

iPhone and Android apps

Your selected car and preferences stay on your device. The Android app can also keep an odometer reading and full-tank mileage-journal entries that you enter. Its local DataStore is excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer. FuelSaathi does not operate an account system, advertising network or third-party analytics service. Catalogue downloads do not include personal records or device identifiers.

Android network use

Android periodically requests the public FuelSaathi catalogue manifest and vehicle file. It verifies their version, size, hash and digital signature before activation. These requests do not include your selected vehicle, odometer or other app preferences.

Fuel nearby opens a mapping app through Android's standard geo link. FuelSaathi does not request Android location permission. Call, source and website buttons open the relevant phone, browser or mapping app only after you choose them.

iPhone location use

The iPhone app requests location when you use nearby fuel. Mapping services process that request under their own terms. FuelSaathi does not retain a trip or location history.

Retention and deletion

FuelSaathi has no user account or developer-server copy of your selected car, odometer, mileage journal or preferences. On Android, Mileage Coach can remove the latest fill or delete the full journal; removing a saved car deletes its odometer and journal. Uninstalling deletes all app-local data. Support correspondence and driver-story submissions are retained only as described above. You may ask for either to be deleted.

Security and independence

Network requests use HTTPS. Android catalogue updates must pass digital-signature verification before use. FuelSaathi is independently published by Amit Patnaik as an independent public driver service. Government and manufacturer documents remain linked to their original issuers.
