ARAI validates E20 vehicles over 40,000 to 60,000 km of testing.

The Automotive Research Association of India carries out durability, performance and reliability testing across vehicle categories, including two-wheelers.

Warranties are honoured for specification-compliant E20 use.

SIAM has confirmed categorically that OEM warranties are honoured for vehicles running specification-compliant E20, and manufacturers continue to honour warranty obligations for vehicles using E20 fuel.

The E20 sticker and your manual.

Two-wheelers made since April 2023 carry an E20 sticker on the tank or the fuel lid. This tells you the fuel is approved.

For older bikes and scooters: open the fuel section of your owner's manual. It names the approved blend. Most run E20 today.

Mileage and maintenance

What E20 does to mileage.

ARAI puts the E20 effect at 2 to 6 percent lower mileage. Tyre pressure, routine service and road conditions matter much more. A timely service is more important than any fuel choice.
